Honor Win 2 Series Launched in China: Dual Fans, 10,100mAh Battery and Prices From CNY 5,499

Honor has launched the Win 2 series in China, and the three phones stick to the formula that made the original Win line famous: flagship chips, batteries far larger than any mainstream rival, and built-in cooling fans. The Win 2, Win RT 2 and Win Turbo 2 all share a 2K 185Hz flat OLED display, and prices for the top model start at CNY 5,499 after national subsidies.

Three phones, one idea

The series splits by chip and battery. The Win 2 leads with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and a 10,100mAh battery. The Win RT 2 steps down to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 but grows the battery to 12,070mAh. The Win Turbo 2 is the affordable entry and shares the RT 2’s 12,070mAh cell. All three run Honor’s latest MagicOS on Android 17, and all three carry IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings in a metal frame — unusual toughness for gaming phones.

The displays deserve attention on their own. The 2K 185Hz panel comes from Visionox, and it is the first smartphone display to combine 2K resolution with a 185Hz refresh rate. Honor is fitting it to all three models rather than reserving it for the flagship.

Honor Win 2: dual fans and the Extreme chip

The Win 2 is the only phone in the series with two built-in fans. Honor calls the setup the Dongfeng Twin-Star Turbo Cooling System and claims it can cut the phone’s overall temperature by up to 14.4°C and the processor’s by up to 15.5°C, with a rapid-cooling mode that drops 10°C in 50 seconds. Fan speed can be left on automatic or adjusted manually.

Around that cooling sits the rest of the flagship sheet: 100W wired and 80W wireless charging for the 10,100mAh battery, a dual 200MP camera system, a dedicated Win key for gaming shortcuts, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. A leaked AnTuTu run ahead of the launch claimed more than 5.7 million points — a pre-release figure from a prototype, so treat it as a hint rather than a result. Colours are Quick Black, Designated Win and a two-tone Red-Blue Buff finish.

Win RT 2 and Win Turbo 2: the big-battery pair

The RT 2 keeps a single cooling fan and a 200MP main camera on a smaller 1/1.56-inch sensor, and swaps the USB port to 2.0. The Turbo 2 drops the fan hardware to hit its lower price while keeping the same display and the 12,070mAh battery — the largest battery Honor has ever fitted to a phone, shared with the RT 2. Storage runs from 12GB + 256GB up to 16GB + 1TB on the Win 2, with the Turbo 2 also offering an 8GB + 256GB entry variant.

Prices and availability

Honor has confirmed the Win 2’s 12GB + 512GB variant at a standard China price of CNY 6,299, with an introductory price of CNY 5,999; the CNY 5,499 after-subsidy figure applies to other variants — CNY 5,499 is also the standard price of the 12GB + 256GB model. Full pricing for the RT 2 and Turbo 2 is being published with the China rollout. The series is China-only for now, with no global launch announced — the original Win series never officially left China either, so import channels are the likely route again. Honor also showed a Win Pad gaming tablet and its first Win-branded earbuds at the same event. Yesterday’s launch-eve report has the confirmed designs and storage options.

What it means for Pakistan

None of the three phones has a Pakistan launch date, and our product pages carry Expected prices — from Rs. 234,999 for the Win 2 — that will be replaced when real import or official pricing appears. The story is that Honor has made 10,000mAh-plus batteries and active cooling normal at three price points at once. If the Win 2 reaches Pakistan through importers the way its predecessor did, it will land as the most extreme gaming phone on the market — with the PTA approval question, as always, deciding its real street price.
