Motorola Defy 2 Review & Practical Analysis
The Motorola Defy 2 is a very tough smartphone, designed for people who work in difficult places or go on adventures where things might get rough. It is made to be incredibly durable. On the front, there is a 6.58-inch display, which is FHD+, and it has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus to keep it safe. The whole phone sits in a strong, military-grade frame. This phone can really take a beating; it has IP68 and IP69K ratings for dust and water, meaning it can go under water up to 5 meters for 35 minutes. Also, it can survive drops onto concrete from about 1.8 meters, and it meets the MIL-STD-810H standards. Inside, the device runs on a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 930 processor, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that you can expand. This setup makes sure it performs well for daily use on Android 12.
One pretty interesting feature it has is the two-way satellite messaging. This uses Bullitt Satellite Connect, and it allows for emergency SOS calls even when there is no cell service available. For taking pictures, it has a triple-camera system; there is a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and then a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera is 8MP. Keeping it powered up for long periods is a 5,000͏mAh battery, which also supports wireless charging. It is a bit heavy, weighing 268g, and it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. But, its exceptional ruggedness, and 5G connectivity.
