SymphonyProducts by Symphony

Symphony is the defining handset brand of Bangladesh. Built by the Edison Group, it turned the mobile phone into a mass-market product in its home country, leading the market for years with feature phones and then affordable smartphones priced for Bangladeshi incomes. For a long stretch, Symphony was effectively the default phone of Bangladesh — the brand on the counter of every small shop in the country.

The range covers both halves of that market. Its feature phones are high-volume essentials: dual SIM, long battery life, FM radio, in some models a camera, at prices that assume a buyer counting carefully. Its smartphones — the i, Z and W series among them — are budget Android devices with large displays, MediaTek and Unisoc processors, and batteries sized for unreliable electricity, refreshed frequently at aggressive taka prices.

Symphony’s strength is distribution and price discipline at home: Edison Group’s network puts its phones in shops that global brands do not reach, and assembles and services them within Bangladesh. Its smartphones do not chase specifications leadership; they chase the lowest workable price for a phone that runs modern apps, and they hit it consistently.

In Pakistan, Symphony has no official presence. Its phones appear here only through import channels and regional trade, and they are listed on this site for the same reason as Walton and Helio — they are a major part of the regional market that Pakistani phone coverage draws on, and units do surface for sale. Any unit offered here is an import: no local warranty, no service network, PTA status to be confirmed by the buyer.

The practical comparison is the same as for other Bangladeshi imports. A Symphony that is the smart buy in Dhaka must be priced against locally assembled Pakistani rivals — itel, Infinix, Tecno — once import cost and tax are included, and it usually only wins on a like-for-like specification when the seller prices it keenly.

This page lists Symphony mobile phone prices in Pakistan with full specifications for the models that reach this market, covering smartphones and feature phones, so you can check display, chipset, battery and memory details before weighing an imported unit against the local alternatives.

Symphony’s prices in taka also make it a useful reference point for the whole regional budget market: when a new Symphony launches in Dhaka with a larger battery or a faster chip at the same price, competing brands in both Bangladesh and Pakistan tend to answer within a season. The models listed here track that range, and their specifications show where the floor of the smartphone market currently sits — the least a buyer anywhere in the region should accept for their money.
