CubotProducts by Cubot

Cubot is a Chinese budget brand that sells some of the cheapest smartphones in the world. Its phones are aimed at the floor of the market: first phones, spare phones, and buyers in price-sensitive markets across Africa, Latin America, Europe and Asia who need a working Android handset for the least money a new phone can cost.

The range has two halves. Its conventional smartphones are simple devices — large LCD screens, MediaTek entry processors, 5,000mAh batteries and camera systems built around one real sensor. The KingKong series is the other half: rugged phones with armoured bodies and big batteries at prices far below the better-known rugged brands, which has made KingKong models a popular first step into the rugged category.

Cubot keeps its software light and its feature list honest. You will not find long update promises, premium materials or fast charging headlines here; you will find dual SIM slots, memory card support and headphone jacks — the practical features budget buyers actually use — present across most of the range.

In Pakistan, Cubot has no official distribution. Phones appear through importers and online sellers, where they compete not with Infinix and Tecno — which carry local warranty and assembly — but with used phones and the very cheapest local models. PTA approval must be confirmed on any unit, and after-sales support is limited to the seller.

That frames the buying decision plainly. A Cubot makes sense when the price gap against a warranted local phone is large, or when a KingKong rugged model offers durability that no local budget phone attempts. At price parity with an Infinix or Itel, the local phone is the safer purchase every time.

This page lists Cubot phone prices in Pakistan with full specifications for every model available here, including the KingKong rugged line, so you can compare chipset, display, battery and protection details against the local competition before buying an imported unit.

Cubot’s software support is the honest weak point, shared with most brands at this level: expect the Android version the phone ships with and few updates beyond it. For a spare phone, a child’s first phone or a KingKong bought for occasional outdoor use, that matters little. For a main phone you plan to keep for three years, it is the strongest argument for stretching to a locally supported brand instead — and the specifications on this page let you see exactly what the extra money buys.
