Vivo X500 Ultra Key Specs Tipped: Extreme Gen 6 Chip, 2K 144Hz Display, Around 7,000mAh Battery

Vivo’s next Ultra is taking shape early. Tipster Digital Chat Station has published the core hardware outline for the Vivo X500 Ultra — the camera flagship expected to launch in China in March or April 2027, a timeline a Vivo product executive has already pointed to in interviews.

The tipped core specification

• Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 (SM8975)
• Display: 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED by BOE, 2K resolution, 144Hz, flat with slim uniform bezels
• Fingerprint: Ultrasonic in-display scanner
• Battery: Around 7,000mAh
• Launch window: China, March–April 2027

The camera is the open question

For a phone whose entire identity is its camera, the camera is the one thing not yet settled. Reporting through the summer had Vivo testing three different 200MP sensors for the telephoto camera, and later reports describe the main camera as a choice between a 50MP 35mm sensor and a 200MP option — both large-format LOFIC designs. Vivo has form here: the Ultra’s camera gap over the X500 Pro Max is the product’s stated reason to exist, so expect the final configuration to be aggressive whichever way the testing lands.

Where it sits

The X500 series is already listed on PhonePrice, including the X500 Ultra’s product page, which carries the reported sheet as it develops — treat every figure in this post as tipped, not confirmed, because the phone is five months from launch and its camera hardware is explicitly undecided. Pakistan availability would follow the China launch by months, through importers first.

Final Verdict

The X500 Ultra’s outline — Extreme Gen 6 power, a flat 2K 144Hz panel, a 7,000mAh-class battery — is exactly what an Ultra should look like before the camera details land. The camera decision is the story to follow; it is the difference between a strong flagship and the camera phone of 2027.
