Vivo Y600 Launches in China on October 30 With a 10,000mAh Battery and a Guinness Record

Vivo has confirmed that the Y600 goes on sale in China on Thursday, October 30, built around a 10,000mAh battery the company is calling its Blue Ocean cell. Pre-orders open on Monday, October 26. The phone arrives with an unusual credential already attached: a Guinness World Record, earned in a battery endurance test held before the phone was even announced. The specification sheet has firmed up considerably — a China Telecom listing has published the core hardware — so this is now a case of hard facts plus one clearly marked rebrand question, rather than a sheet full of guesses.
What Vivo and the listing have confirmed
- China sale date: October 30, 2026, with pre-orders from October 26
- Battery: 10,000mAh Blue Ocean battery
- Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7300e
- Display: 6.83-inch panel
- Cameras: 50MP main + 2MP secondary rear, 8MP front camera
- Software: OriginOS 6 on Android 16
- Weight: 224g; colours shown in white, blue, gold and black
- Guinness World Record: longest smartphone product testing livestream, 32 hours and 37 minutes, set on August 11, 2026
The record needs a word of context. It certifies the longest continuous livestream run as a product test, a demonstration Vivo staged to prove the battery rather than a standardised battery benchmark. Even so, a phone that can stream for 32 hours and 37 minutes on one charge is making a serious point about endurance, and two-day battery life is the claim Vivo is leading with. The base Y600 also joins a family that is already crowded in China, where Vivo sells a Y600 Pro, a Y600 Turbo, a Y600i and a Y600s Pro, several of them built around batteries of 10,000mAh or more. What separates this model is the record attempt and the mainstream positioning: this is the plain Y600, aimed at the widest audience rather than a niche variant.

One name, two phones
This is the part that needs care, because the Y600 name covers two different configurations. The phone in this post is the China model (model V2607A): 8MP selfie camera, OriginOS 6, and the specification sheet above. A separate global configuration (model V2626) is expected to follow as a rebrand of the Vivo V80 Lite 5G sold in Malaysia and the Vivo S2 FE sold in India, and that version carries a different sheet — a 32MP selfie camera and OriginOS 7 among the differences. Our Vivo Y600 product page is built on the China model, with a section explaining both, because mixing the two sheets is exactly how the Y600 gets misreported. If a global Y600 appears with the 32MP selfie camera, it will be the rebrand, not a correction to this phone.

What is not yet confirmed
Vivo has not announced the Y600’s price, and it has said nothing about a launch outside China. Charging speed is the one figure to treat with caution: 44W is widely carried by platforms and matches the 3C certification trail, but it is not yet officially confirmed by Vivo, and the October 30 launch should settle it. If the phone follows its siblings’ pricing, it will land as one of the largest-battery phones in its class — but the official word is still to come, and our product page will be updated the day it lands.
