Honor X6a Review & Practical Analysis
The Honor X6a, it is a budget smartphone really, that tries to find a good balance. You get a big battery, which is nice, and also a 90Hz display. For the screen, it is a 6.56-inch TFT LCD panel and that 90Hz refresh rate means things scroll a bit smoother compared to what you would see on a regular 60Hz screen. However, the resolution, it is only 720p, which is pretty basic. Un͏der the hood, it has an entry-level MediaTek Helio G36 processor. And, with 4GB of RAM, this phone works okay for things like browsing the internet, making calls, or using lighter applications on Android 13. But, it is definitely not made for heavy gaming or trying to do a lot of things at once.
Really, the main strength of the X6a is its very large 5,200mAh battery. That capacity is meant to last you easily through an entire day, and it even has 22.5W wired charging to help wi͏th that. For taking pictures, you get a 50MP main sensor; this captures dece͏nt everyday photos. Plus, there is a macro and a depth sensor, but those are fairly basic, and a 5MP camera for selfies. It also keeps some very practical features, like a 3.5mm headphone jack, and you can expand the storage with a microSD card, and it has NFC too. Now, it does not have 5G connectivity, and its performance is not top-tier, but for its price and how long the battery lasts, it is a good pick for practical, daily usage.
