OnePlus 16 Overview

The OnePlus 16 launched in China on October 12, 2026, as the company’s flagship for the year, built around the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a 200MP-led triple camera system and a 9,000mAh battery. It runs ColorOS 17 on Android 17 in its Chinese build. OnePlus has not announced a Pakistan or international launch, so local availability will be through imports.

Display and Performance

The 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED uses BOE X4 material and scales from 1Hz to 165Hz in normal use, unlocking up to 185Hz in supported games. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 peaks at 5.01GHz with an Adreno 850 GPU, and a dedicated gaming chip setup (P4 display chip, Lingxi touch chip and G3 network chip) supports high-refresh gaming. Memory is LPDDR5X Ultra with UFS 4.1 storage in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB options; there is no card slot.

Cameras and Battery

The main camera is a 200MP 1/1.4-inch unit with f/1.6 aperture and two-axis OIS. A 50MP periscope telephoto gives 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide covers 116 degrees. OnePlus 16 Price in Pakistan

Variant Expected Price in Pakistan
12GB RAM + 256GB storage Rs. 248,999
12GB RAM + 512GB storage Rs. 281,999
16GB RAM + 512GB storage Rs. 310,999
16GB RAM + 1TB storage Rs. 351,999

These expected prices are converted from the official China prices (CNY 5,999 to CNY 8,499) at the current exchange rate. The official Pakistan price is not yet confirmed, the phone is not officially sold in Pakistan, and imported units will usually cost more. PTA tax for this model is not yet confirmed; check the exact unit’s status through DIRBS before buying.

Final Verdict: Should You Buy It in Pakistan?

On specification, the OnePlus 16 is one of the strongest flagships of the year: battery size, charging speed, camera hardware and durability ratings are all at the top of the class. The obstacle is access — it is a China-only launch running Chinese ColorOS, with no local warranty and unconfirmed PTA costs. Buy it as an import only if you accept those terms; most buyers should wait for an international release or settled local pricing.
