Oppo Reno9 Pro+ Review & Practical Analysis
The Oppo Ren͏o9 Pro+ is designed as a more premium, mid-range smartph͏one, offering a mix of top-tier processing power and a really nice slim, curved design, plus good camera features. On the front, you have this impressive 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display. It handles a billion colors, has a 120Hz refresh rate, supports HDR10+, and can reach 950 nits for peak brightness. This screen is protected using Asahi Glass AGC DT-Star2. Inside the phone, you find the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. This is paired with a significant 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and you can get up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage which is quite fast. This combination p͏rovides great speed, manages heat well, and allows for smooth multitasking, all running on Android 13 with ColorOS 13 on top of it.
For taking pictures, there is a flexible three-camera system. It includes a 50MP main sensor that has multi-directional PDAF and OIS, which is Optical Image Stabilization, to help get sh͏arp, steady photos. There is also an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, you get a 32MP front camera with autofocus. Powering everything is a reliable 4,700mAh battery, meant to last through busy days. It supports very fast 80W SuperVOOC wired charging; this can get the device to 45% charge in just 10 minutes, and a full cha͏rge takes about 31 minutes. It is worth noting, though, that this phone does not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and also it lacks expandable storage.
