Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Plus Overview
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Plus was announced on September 30, 2026, and released on October 7. It is the smaller of Samsung’s two flagship tablets — a 12.6-inch AMOLED slate with the same Dimensity 9500 chip as the Ultra, S Pen support and DeX. Samsung Pakistan has not confirmed a local launch, so the Pakistan price is not yet confirmed.
Key Highlights
- 12.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 1752 x 2800 pixels, 120Hz
- Dimensity 9500, 12GB RAM, 256GB or 512GB storage plus microSDXC
- 13MP rear camera; 12MP ultrawide front camera
- 10,600mAh battery with 45W wired charging
- S Pen support, Samsung DeX, IP68 rating
- Android 17 with One UI 9 and 7 promised major upgrades
Display and Performance
The 12.6-inch AMOLED runs at 120Hz with HDR10+ and keeps the Ultra’s brightness ratings, in a body 5.3mm thin. The Dimensity 9500 is a flagship chip, so split-screen work, DeX and demanding apps are well within its reach.
Cameras and Battery
The single 13MP rear camera and 12MP ultrawide front camera are aimed at documents and video calls, with 4K recording on both sides. The 10,600mAh battery is large for the size class, though 45W charging means full top-ups take time.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Plus Price in Pakistan
The price is not yet confirmed. The Tab S12 Plus is expected around BDT 190,000 in Bangladesh, but Samsung Pakistan has not announced local pricing. Note the cellular (5G) version’s SIM would need PTA registration to work in Pakistan; the Wi-Fi version needs no registration.
Final Verdict: Should You Buy It in Pakistan?
The Tab S12 Plus keeps the Ultra’s chip, screen quality and software support in a lighter, cheaper body — for most buyers it is the better-balanced of the two. Wait for official Pakistan pricing before importing; at this level, local warranty matters.
