Honor 700S: what we know so far
Honor officially revealed the design of the 700 series and opened multi-channel pre-orders in China on 7 November 2026, with pre-orders covered by a 365-day replace-not-repair policy and one year of front and rear screen insurance. The Honor 700S is the entry model of the line-up, sitting below the Honor 700 and the Honor 700 Pro. No launch date has been announced, and no official price exists yet.
Read the specifications below with care: Honor has not published a full official specification sheet for the 700S. The figures come from MobileDokan, which labels them “Unofficial specifications” and “Rumored”, so nothing here is Honor-confirmed until the company says so.
Design and colours
The 700 series comes in four colours from Honor’s official reveal: Powder Mist, Cold White, Blue Tone and Clear Sky. MobileDokan’s specification table lists different colours instead — Misty Purple, Desert Gold and Velvet Black — so the official colours above are the ones to go by. The phone has a glass front with a plastic frame and plastic back, IP68/IP69K dust and water resistance, and drop resistance of up to 2.5 m. The fingerprint sensor is side-mounted.
Display
The 700S is listed with a 6.87-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1020 nits peak brightness and a resolution of 720 x 1592 pixels. One inconsistency on MobileDokan’s own page is worth noting: the specification table says IPS LCD, while the site’s FAQ describes the same display as a “TFT panel”. The specification-table value, IPS LCD, is used here.
Performance and software
Power comes from the Qualcomm SM4450-AF Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, running Android 17, with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. There is no memory card slot. MobileDokan gives no CPU or GPU clock speeds, so those fields are left blank.
Camera
The rear camera is a dual setup: a 50 MP main lens plus an auxiliary lens, with an LED flash, HDR and panorama, recording 1080p video at 30fps. The front camera is a single 5 MP unit, also recording 1080p video at 30fps.
Battery and charging
The battery is a large 8100 mAh Li-Po unit — bigger than the Honor 700’s 7000 mAh cell, though smaller than the Honor 700 Pro’s 9000 mAh battery. MobileDokan gives no charging wattage for the 700S, so the charging field is left blank.
Connectivity and extra features
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and NFC (market/region dependent), plus USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG. FM radio is listed as unspecified, and there is no infrared port. Sensors include the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor and compass. Dimensions and weight are not given on MobileDokan and are left blank.
How it differs from the Honor 700 and Honor 700 Pro
The 700S is the entry model of the three. The Honor 700 steps up to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, a dual 200 MP camera and a 7000 mAh battery, while the Honor 700 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a triple camera setup and a 9000 mAh battery. The 700S keeps the series design and the big battery, but with a more modest chipset and camera.
Final Verdict: promising, but wait for Honor to confirm the details
The Honor 700S looks like a sensible entry point to the 700 series: a big 6.87-inch 120Hz display, a huge 8100 mAh battery and proper IP68/IP69K protection are genuinely appealing. But with no launch date and no price announced, and with only MobileDokan’s unofficial specification sheet to go on, the phone is one to watch rather than one to buy just yet. Wait for Honor’s official specifications and pricing before deciding.
