Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G Price in Pakistan
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G (Bangladesh) is the Bangladesh variant of Xiaomi’s large-battery Note-series phone. Launched in Bangladesh – 9 September 2026 – it is distinct from the China Refresh model sold elsewhere: this Bangladesh version pairs an 8,340mAh battery with a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultrawide, plus a 16MP selfie camera, while the China Refresh model uses a 9,000mAh battery, a 50MP + 2MP depth rear setup and an 8MP selfie camera. Do not confuse the two – they are different phones.
Price in Pakistan
The official Bangladesh price is BDT 54,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, which converts to an expected price of Rs. 122,999 in Pakistan. PTA approval is not yet confirmed, so treat this as an expected import price until an official Pakistani listing appears.
| Storage | Price |
|---|---|
| 8GB 256GB | Rs. 122,999 (Expected) – official Bangladesh price |
| 8GB 128GB | Rs. 91,999 (Expected) – unofficial import |
Note: the unofficial-import price for the 8GB + 256GB variant (BDT 45,000, about Rs. 100,999) is deliberately NOT rowed above, because it duplicates the official variant label and would confuse buyers about which price is official.
Design and Display
The phone is built around a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh, 68 billion colours and 3840Hz PWM dimming, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Brightness reaches 1,060 nits typical, 1,800 nits in high-brightness mode and 3,500 nits peak. The body measures 163.5 × 78.3 × 8.6 mm and weighs 223 g, with a glass front, plastic back and plastic frame. It is rated IP68/IP69K – dust tight and water resistant against high-pressure jets and immersion up to 1.5 m for 30 minutes – and drop resistant up to 3 m. Colours are Sky Blue, Black, Satin Orange and Purple.
Performance
Inside is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 (4 nm), with four 2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 cores and four 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 cores, plus an Adreno 710 GPU. It runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3. Variants are 6GB 128GB, 6GB 256GB, 8GB 256GB, 12GB 256GB and 12GB 512GB. There is no microSD expansion, so choose your storage at purchase. The SIM setup is Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM / Nano-SIM + eSIM, depending on region.
Camera
The rear camera is a dual setup: a 50MP main camera (f/1.8, 26 mm wide, PDAF, OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide (f/2.2, 15 mm, 120°). Features include LED flash, HDR and panorama, and video records at 1080p at 30fps with gyro-EIS. The selfie camera is a single 16MP unit (f/2.4) with HDR and panorama, also recording 1080p at 30fps. There is no 4K video, and there is no 3.5mm headphone jack – audio is via USB-C, with 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res and Hi-Res wireless audio, plus stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
Battery and Charging
The headline feature is the 8,340mAh silicon-carbon battery, charged at 67W wired (PD3.0, 50% in 34 minutes) and able to charge other devices at 22.5W reverse wired. That combination – a very large battery, fast wired charging and reverse charging – is the phone’s main selling point for heavy users.
Final Verdict: A big-battery, well-protected all-rounder with an expected Rs. 122,999 price
For buyers who value battery life, a bright 120Hz AMOLED screen and IP68/IP69K protection, the Bangladesh Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G is a strong package, provided the expected price holds. The compromises are the plastic back and frame, the lack of microSD expansion and a headphone jack, and 1080p-only video. Confirm PTA status and the exact variant before paying.
