Xiaomi Redmi Note 14S: A 200MP Camera Phone
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14S, launched on 14 March 2025, is a camera-led mid-range phone built around a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilisation. It pairs that camera with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, a Helio G99 Ultra chipset and 67W charging, in a light 179g body. Note clearly that this phone is 4G only: it does not support 5G.
Design and Display
The Note 14S measures 161.1 x 75 x 8 mm and weighs 179g. Its 6.67-inch AMOLED display offers a 1080 x 2400 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The body carries an IP64 rating. It comes in Ocean Blue, Aurora Purple and Midnight Black.
Performance and Cameras
Power comes from the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra, an octa-core chip running at up to 2.2 GHz, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On the back, the 200MP main camera with optical image stabilisation is joined by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens, while a 16MP camera handles selfies. The phone runs Android 15 with HyperOS, and its 5000mAh battery charges at 67W.
Price in Pakistan
The expected price below is converted from MobileDokan’s unofficial Bangladesh price of BDT 26,000 at BDT 2.2284 per rupee, rounded to Rs 57,999. PTA approval is not yet confirmed for this phone.
| Variant | Price | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 8GB 256GB | Rs 57,999 | Expected |
Final Verdict: The Redmi Note 14S is a strong choice for buyers who want a 200MP camera, fast 67W charging and a light body at this price, provided they accept that it is 4G only and that its 2MP macro lens adds little.
