Motorola Signature 27 Is Official: $1,599 Flagship With a 7,000mAh Battery and a First-Ever Action Sensor
Motorola has made the Signature 27 fully official, and the headline numbers are now Motorola’s own rather than leaks. The phone runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, carries a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, and adds the first dedicated Event Vision Sensor on a smartphone — a separate action sensor built for fast-moving subjects. The United States price is $1,599.99 for the sole 12GB + 512GB configuration, with pre-orders from 19 November and the sale from 26 November.
At a glance
What Motorola confirmed
The Signature 27 is Motorola’s second ultra-premium flagship, following the original Signature, which never went on sale in the United States. This one will: it is sold SIM-free through Motorola.com, Amazon.com and BestBuy.com, with no carrier listed. Motorola calls it its fastest Android phone, a marketing claim independent testing still has to check.
The display is a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED Duo panel — a tandem OLED with two light-emitting layers stacked — at 1.5K resolution and 120Hz, with Dolby Vision. The phone runs Android 17. Audio is tuned with Bang & Olufsen, a first for a Motorola phone, replacing the Sound by Bose tuning used on the original Signature. It is also the first phone to support GrapheneOS, built with the GrapheneOS Foundation and with ARM Memory Tagging Extension, the hardware memory protection GrapheneOS requires.
The camera system
The main camera is a 50MP Sony LYT-910 sensor with an f/1.6 LOFIC lens and optical stabilisation. The periscope telephoto is a 200MP sensor, and Motorola’s Super Zoom Pro reaches up to 100x zoom using generative AI. The optical multiplier of the periscope is not yet confirmed: reports differ, so this article gives no optical figure until Motorola states one.
The EVS — Event Vision Sensor — is the genuinely new part. It is a dedicated sensor that watches for motion and change in the scene, separate from the imaging sensors, and Motorola positions it as an action sensor for fast subjects. No other phone has shipped one before.

Price and dates by market
The United States gets one configuration: 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for $1,599.99, pre-orders from 19 November and the sale from 26 November. Anyone buying at Motorola.com also gets the new Moto Watch Ultra and one free year of Motocare, Motorola’s care plan — a bundle exclusive to Motorola’s own site. Europe, the Middle East and Africa get availability from 16 November; Poland has pre-orders from 16 November and sales from 23 November at 7,599 zÅ‚. The European recommended price is €1,899, with a €1,399 partner price reported in some markets. India is “later this month” with no date yet, and Canada has no availability announced. One outlet mentioned a 16GB RAM variant; no other source corroborates it, and the Geekbench listing ran with 12GB, so treat the 16GB claim as unconfirmed.
What it means in Pakistan
The Signature 27 page on this site lists an Expected price of Rs. 594,999, set on a European-price basis. That figure is an interim anchor, not an official Pakistan price — Motorola has announced no Pakistan launch, price or date. The phone’s positioning is clear enough: at $1,599.99 it sits above the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the iPhone 18 Pro Max on price, and Motorola is asking buyers to pay for the battery, the periscope and the EVS sensor rather than for a lower tag.
