Realme has brought its 16 series to market with the Realme 16 Pro, a phone that pairs a 200MP main camera with a 7000mAh battery and a 144Hz AMOLED display. It was announced on 6 January 2026 and released on 8 January 2026, and it sits in the upper mid-range, where battery life and camera hardware matter most to buyers.

In Pakistan, the phone is not on sale yet. Its expected price is Rs. 106,999, and its availability status is Coming Soon. realme Pakistan already lists a specifications page for the handset, which points to a local launch, but no launch date has been confirmed and PTA approval has not been confirmed either, so no tax figure can be given at this stage.

Realme 16 Pro Price in Pakistan

The expected price of the Realme 16 Pro in Pakistan is Rs. 106,999. The figure is worked out from the Bangladesh listing on MobileDokan, where the phone is listed at BDT 48,000: at the conversion used for this listing, BDT 48,000 x 2.2205 gives Rs. 106,584, rounded up to Rs. 106,999. It is a product-level price only, because MobileDokan lists no per-variant prices, so no separate price rows are shown for the 8GB and 12GB versions.

One point in the Bangladesh listing is worth noting: MobileDokan prices the 16 Pro (BDT 48,000) above the 16 Pro+ (BDT 47,000), while prices in India put the Pro+ higher. The figures used here follow the MobileDokan listing as published, so the expected price reads as a sourced listing rather than a ranking of the two models. The price is marked Expected and may change once realme Pakistan confirms local pricing.

Design and Build

The 16 Pro measures 162.6 x 77.6 x 7.8 mm and weighs 192 g, with a glass front, a plastic frame and a choice of plastic or eco-leather (silicone polymer) back. It is rated IP68/IP69K for dust and water resistance and meets MIL-STD-810H, so it is built to take knocks and splashes that would trouble most phones in this class. It comes in Gold, Pebble Grey and Orchid Purple, and the model numbers are RMX5121 and RMX5120.

Display

The 6.78-inch AMOLED display runs at 144Hz and shows 1 billion colours with HDR10+ support. Its resolution is 1272 x 2772 pixels, and brightness reaches 1000 nits typical, 1400 nits in high-brightness mode and 6500 nits peak, which keeps the screen readable in strong daylight. The panel is protected by AGC DT star D+ glass.

Performance and Software

Power comes from the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max, a 4nm chip with four 2.5GHz Cortex-A78 cores and four 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores, plus Mali-G615 MC2 graphics. It is paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of storage, in four combinations: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB and 8GB+512GB. There is no microSD card slot. The phone runs Android 16 with realme UI 7.0, and realme promises 3 major OS upgrades in India and 5 in the EU.

Cameras

The rear camera pair is led by a 200MP main sensor (Samsung HP5) with an f/1.9 lens and optical image stabilisation, joined by an 8MP ultrawide camera. Video goes up to 4K at 30fps on the rear cameras, with gyro-EIS and OIS. The front camera is a 50MP unit with an f/2.4 lens that also records 4K video at 30fps. The 200MP sensor gives the phone real cropping headroom, while the 8MP ultrawide is the plain part of the set.

Battery and Charging

The battery is the headline here: a 7000mAh silicon-carbon cell (6830mAh rated) with 80W wired charging, 55W PPS and 13.5W PD 2.0, plus reverse wired charging and bypass charging. Note that these are the figures for the India/global version (v1). A Europe version (v2) exists with a 6500mAh battery and 45W charging; the figures on this page follow the v1 version.

Connectivity and Extras

Other features include an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, stereo speakers, 5G, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB-C 2.0 with OTG. NFC depends on the region, and there is no FM radio or 3.5mm headphone jack.

The expected price covers all storage options, since no per-variant prices have been listed:

Variant Price Status
All storage options Rs. 106,999 Expected

Final Verdict: A battery-first mid-ranger with a strong camera

On paper, the Realme 16 Pro is a battery-first phone: a 7000mAh cell, 80W charging and a bright 144Hz AMOLED display, with a 200MP main camera and Android 16 on top. The 8MP ultrawide and the lack of a card slot are the clear trade-offs, and the expected price of Rs. 106,999 will only make sense once realme Pakistan confirms it and PTA approval is settled. For buyers who want long battery life and a high-resolution main camera, it is one to watch when it reaches Pakistan.
