Vivo Y600: Launch, Price and Variants
The Vivo Y600 is Vivo’s new battery-first phone for China. It has been announced for the Chinese market, where pre-orders open on 26 October 2026 and open sale starts on 30 October 2026. The headline feature is a 10,000mAh BlueVolt battery, the largest cell Vivo has put in a phone of this size, and the phone built around it is not a rugged brick: at 8.59mm thick it stays slimmer than many standard phones with half the battery capacity.
The battery has already earned the phone a place in the record books. In August 2026, the Y600’s 10,000mAh BlueVolt cell powered a continuous livestream for 32 hours and 37 minutes, a run verified by Guinness World Records. Vivo has not announced the Y600 for Pakistan, and there is no official Pakistan launch date or price at the time of writing.
Vivo Y600 Price in Pakistan
No price has been announced for the Vivo Y600 anywhere yet. Vivo will announce the China prices when pre-orders open on 26 October 2026, and the phone goes on sale in China on 30 October 2026 in three memory variants: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM with 256GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. There is no microSD card slot, so the storage picked at purchase is fixed.
Pakistan availability is not confirmed. Vivo Pakistan has not listed the Y600, and until it does, any local units would arrive through import channels. PTA approval status and tax amounts for imported units are not confirmed either, so no Pakistan price is quoted on this page yet. This page will be updated when the China prices land on 26 October.
Design and Build
The Y600 measures 163.9 x 76.5 x 8.59 mm and weighs 224 g. The front is glass, while the frame and back panel are plastic, a cost decision that keeps the price of a very large battery in check. Despite the plastic build, protection is strong: the phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings against dust and water, including high-pressure water jets, and it is MIL-STD-810H compliant. It takes two Nano-SIM cards and comes in Blue, Gold, Black and White.
Display
The front is a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1260 x 2800 resolution, about 450 pixels per inch, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+ and peaks at 2,000 nits in high-brightness mode, with 1,000 nits typical brightness, so outdoor readability should not be a problem. The fingerprint sensor sits under the display and is an optical unit.
Performance
Power comes from the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e, a 6nm octa-core chip with four Cortex-A78 cores at 2.5GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It is a mid-range chip tuned for efficiency rather than raw speed, which suits a phone built around battery life. Memory options are 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage, and 5G is supported.
Camera
The rear camera system pairs a 50MP main camera (f/1.8, with PDAF) with an auxiliary lens, plus an LED flash, HDR and panorama modes. It is a workhorse setup rather than a photography flagship: the main sensor does the heavy lifting and the auxiliary lens plays a supporting role. The front camera on this China model is 8MP, which is modest for video calls and selfies. Buyers comparing spec sheets should note that the expected global version of this phone carries a different front camera; see the One Name, Two Phones section below.
Battery and Charging
The 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery is the reason this phone exists. It is the cell that ran the Guinness World Record livestream of 32 hours and 37 minutes in August 2026, and in ordinary use it should carry the phone through two to three days between charges for most people. Charging is 44W wired, which is not fast for a cell this size, so a full charge takes a while; plan on overnight charging. The phone also supports reverse wired charging, so it can top up earbuds or a second phone in a pinch.
Software
The China model runs Android 16 with Vivo’s OriginOS 6 on top. That software pairing is specific to this version: the expected global variant is reported to run a newer OriginOS build, which is one of several differences between the two phones sold under this name.
Connectivity
The Y600 supports GSM, HSPA, LTE and 5G (SA/NSA) networks. Local wireless covers Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 5.4 with A2DP and LE, and positioning is handled by GPS with GALILEO, GLONASS, QZSS and BDS support. There is no NFC and no FM radio, and the wired connection is USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG support. Audio plays through stereo speakers, and there is no 3.5mm headphone jack.
One Name, Two Phones
Anyone researching this phone will run into a second set of specifications under the same name, and the difference matters. Vivo is also expected to sell a global Y600 5G based on different hardware, the same platform as the Vivo V80 Lite, with a 32MP selfie camera and OriginOS 7. That global model is a separate phone from the China-market Y600 (model V2607A) covered on this page, which has an 8MP selfie camera and OriginOS 6. Specifications differ by market, so check which version a listing refers to before comparing prices. Related models on this site: the Vivo S2 FE, the Vivo Y600i and the Vivo Y600 Turbo.

Final Verdict: A Record-Breaking Battery in a Slim Body
The Vivo Y600 makes one promise and keeps it: battery life measured in days, proven by a Guinness World Record, in a body that is slimmer than phones with half its capacity. The Dimensity 7300e, 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED screen and IP68/IP69 build round out a sensible package, while the plastic frame, 44W charging speed and 8MP selfie camera mark the compromises. For Pakistan, everything depends on whether Vivo launches it here officially; until the China prices arrive on 26 October and a local launch is confirmed, the Y600 stays one to watch rather than one to buy.
