Oppo Reno 9 Review & Practical Analysis
The Oppo Reno9, this phone really tries to hit that sweet spot as a mid-range smartphone. It is super s͏lim, very light, and just focuses a lot on looking good, kind of premium aesthetics. And also, its display performance, that is pretty fluid. Up on the front, you get a really nice 6.7-inch curved AMOLED screen, you know, it can show 1 billion colors. Plus, it has a 120Hz refresh rate, supports HDR10+, and it can get quite bright, about 950 nits peak brightness. Asahi Glass AGC DT-Star2 protects it, so that is a good thing. Under the hood, it uses an efficient 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G processor. This is paired with up to 12GB of RAM, and you can get a lot of internal storage too, either 256GB or 512GB. So, daily use, multitasking, it runs smoothly on Android 13 with ColorOS 13.
When it comes to taking pictures, the main camera on the back is 64MP, and it has some kind of auxiliary lens with it. For selfies, there is a good 32MP front camera, and it even has autofocus, which is nice for sharp portraits. Battery life is handled by a 4,500mAh battery, which should get you through the day, you know, normal routines. And charging is quick with 67W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. They say it can go from 1% to full, 100%, in just 44 minutes. Now, it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, and you cannot expand the storage, that is a miss for some. But it is very thin, like 7.2mm, and that vibrant curved display along with a pretty balanced set of features makes it look quite appealing for people who care about st͏yle.
