PUBG Mobile 4.7 Update: Glyph Abilities and a Frozen Erangel Reported for November 12
Read this one with a warning label attached: everything below comes from beta reports, not from final patch notes. PUBG Mobile 4.7 is reported to arrive on November 12, 2026, headlined by Glyph abilities and a frozen version of Erangel — but beta content can change before launch, and some of the flashiest claims are still unconfirmed. Here is what the beta actually showed, and what to treat with caution.
At a glance — all reported, none final
Reported release: November 12, 2026 (outlets cite an official post; time, download size and update rewards unannounced)
Headline systems: Glyph abilities, Glyph Altars, a Nordic-themed urban area, Erangel Subzero
Gear: Canted Foregrip, Battle Ready Kit, staged reloading
Unconfirmed: whether the Aurora Pegasus can actually fly, and whether it appears in every match
Status: Beta 4 ran October 23–25 with no reported contents; final notes not published
What the beta reportedly contains
The beta ran in four phases, and each one added a layer. Beta 1, from September 23 to October 9, reportedly covered healing item changes, the Battle Ready Kit, a vehicle camera rework and staged reloading — the kind of quality-of-life work that rarely makes trailers but changes how fights feel. Beta 2, October 10–14, reportedly brought the themed mode itself, with Glyph skills, the Aurora Pegasus and the Canted Foregrip. Beta 3, October 15–22, reportedly added a Nordic-themed urban area, an “Ancient Beast” gameplay element and a Metro Royale player-versus-environment boss called the Reaper Scorpion. Beta 4, October 23–25, has no reported contents so far.
The system at the centre of it all is Glyph abilities. Reports describe them as passive skills for the themed mode: you start a match with a random one, such as Tactical Shield or Quick Reload, and you can change or strengthen your ability at Glyph Altars scattered across the map. That makes the drop and the early rotation matter in a new way, because your build is no longer fixed when you land. Movement also reportedly gets a boost through Aurora’s Fleeting Step, an active ability that lets players double dash or short jump to escape bad fights.
Alongside the themed mode sits Erangel Subzero, a frozen take on the classic map. Reports differ on how it relates to the Glyph mode — one outlet says Subzero has no Glyph powers, which suggests it is a separate experience, while another calls it a Classic Mode spin-off. The final rules are not settled in public reporting, so do not assume the two modes share systems until the official notes land.

The Pegasus question
The claim doing the most rounds is also the least solid. A themed vehicle called the Aurora Pegasus was reportedly teased officially, and leak-based reporting says it can run across terrain and fly. The flying part is unconfirmed speculation: the vehicle may be random-only, meaning it might not appear in every match, and its exact behaviour has not been confirmed in official patch material. Treat every clip of a flying horse as a beta sighting, not a promise.
The same caution applies to the whole update. PUBG Mobile itself describes beta content as not final, so abilities, items and balance can shift between the last beta and the live build. The November 12 date rests on outlets’ accounts of an official post — ItemGame and Khel Now both cite it — but the release time, the download size and any update rewards are unannounced. If the date slips, it will be because the beta found something worth fixing, and that is a good reason for a delay, not a broken promise.
What to do before launch
If you play the beta, register through the Events tab and Test Server option inside the game and use the binding code you receive there, rather than trusting third-party download pages. Reported beta device needs are modest — around 4GB of RAM and 3 to 4GB of free storage, with both 32-bit and 64-bit Android builds — but those are reported figures, not an official specification, so older phones should still expect a rough ride on a winter map full of new effects.
For everyone else, the sensible move is to wait for the official patch notes. The Glyph system is the part most likely to survive intact, because it is a full mode system rather than a single item. The Pegasus, the Subzero rules and the Metro Royale boss are the parts most likely to change. When the notes arrive, compare them against this list — the differences will tell you what the beta testers actually pushed back on.
