It pairs dual 200MP cameras with an 8,800mAh battery — the largest Honor has put in a flagship — and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. The phone is not officially sold in Pakistan yet, so local units are imports.
Key Highlights
- 6.8-inch LTPO OLED, 1320 x 2868 pixels, 120Hz, up to 10,000 nits peak brightness
- 200MP main camera with OIS plus a 200MP 3.7x periscope telephoto
- 55MP selfie camera with a TOF 3D depth sensor
- 8,800mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging
- IP68/IP69K ratings and NanoCrystal Shield glass
- Android 17 with MagicOS 11, seven years of OS updates promised
Display and Performance
The 6.8-inch LTPO OLED runs at 120Hz with 4,320Hz PWM dimming and Dolby Vision. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 is Qualcomm’s 2nm flagship chip, paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. There is no microSD slot.
Cameras and Battery
Both rear cameras use 200MP sensors: a 23mm main unit with OIS and an 85mm periscope telephoto with 3.7x optical zoom, backed by a 50MP ultrawide. Video reaches 4K at 60fps with 10-bit recording. The 8,800mAh battery supports 100W wired, 80W wireless, reverse wireless and 5W reverse wired charging.
Honor Magic 9 Pro Max Price in Pakistan
| Variant | Expected Price in Pakistan |
|---|---|
| 12GB RAM + 256GB | Rs. 380,999 |
| 12GB RAM + 512GB | Rs. 405,000 |
| 16GB RAM + 512GB | Rs. 430,000 |
| 16GB RAM + 1TB | Rs. 465,000 |
These are expected prices. The Magic 9 Pro Max has no official Pakistan launch yet, so the local price is not yet confirmed, and imported units are non-PTA until registered with DIRBS — check the PTA status and exact model number before buying.
Final Verdict: Should You Buy It in Pakistan?
On hardware, this is Honor’s strongest flagship: two 200MP cameras, a two-day battery and charging speeds most rivals do not match. The costs are weight — 233g is a lot to carry — and import risk in Pakistan, with no local warranty and PTA registration on top. Buy it if camera and battery life top your list and you are comfortable importing.
