The Walton XANON X2 Ultra is a new Android 16 phone from Walton, announced on 28 October 2026 and released on 29 October 2026 in Bangladesh. It is listed as Available, with an expected price of Rs. 55,999 in Pakistan for the 8GB 128GB version. PTA approval has not yet been confirmed, so buyers should check PTA status before purchase.
Design and Display
The phone measures 168.6 x 79.4 x 9.4 mm and weighs 228 g, with dual Nano-SIM slots and IP64 dust and water resistance. The 6.8-inch IPS LCD runs at 120Hz with a 720 x 1576 resolution in a 20:9 ratio, protected by Panda glass. Walton rates brightness at a 560 nits manual peak with an HBM boost up to 700 nits, and the screen covers around 90% of the front. It comes in Obsidian Brown, Abyssal Blue and Mica Silver, with a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
Performance and Battery
Android 16 runs with Walton’s DidoOS skin on the MediaTek Helio G100, built on a 6 nm process, with two 2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 cores and six 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores plus a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Storage is 128GB UFS with a dedicated microSDXC slot up to 512GB, and RAM is 8GB physical — the advertised 16GB figure adds 8GB of virtual RAM, which is not physical memory. The 7,000 mAh battery charges at 45W wired and supports bypass charging, which feeds the phone directly during heavy use instead of charging the battery at the same time.
Cameras and Connectivity
The rear pair is a 50 MP f/1.8 main camera plus a 2 MP second lens, with Portrait, Beauty, Night mode, Filter, Pro video, Pro mode, Motion photo, Macro, Panorama, Slow motion and Time lapse modes, and video at 1080p@30fps and 1440p@30fps with EIS. Connectivity covers GSM, HSPA and LTE only — there is no 5G — with dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS with BeiDou, GLONASS and Galileo, FM radio with recording, USB Type-C with OTG, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers. NFC is not included. Extra tools include netless voice chat, a dynamic window, app clone, call recordings, an anti-theft alarm, hidden apps and anti-peeping.
Price in Pakistan
| Variant | Price in Pakistan | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 8GB 128GB | Rs. 55,999 | Expected |
The expected figure comes from the Bangladesh price of ৳24,999 converted at the standing rate, and the Bangladesh listing adds a ‘plus VAT’ note. PTA approval is not yet confirmed.
Final Verdict: A Big-Battery Debut at a Sharp Expected Price
The XANON X2 Ultra leads with its 7,000 mAh battery, 45W charging with bypass support, large 120Hz screen and a card slot next to 128GB of storage, plus a headphone jack and FM radio. The trade-offs are real: 4G only, a 720p panel on a 6.8-inch screen, no NFC, and a 228 g weight. It is a strong value pick on paper at the expected price, but buyers should wait for an official Pakistan price and PTA confirmation before committing.
