The ZEED Z-Play is a new Android 16 phone from a brand making its first appearance on PhonePrice. Announced on 30 October 2026, it is listed as Coming Soon and is not on sale yet, so no price has been confirmed for Pakistan. As with other newly announced imports, PTA approval has not been confirmed, so check the PTA position before buying once stock arrives.
Design and Display
The Z-Play is built around a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with one billion colours, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1272×2772 resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio (around 450 ppi), with an oleophobic coating and brightness rated at 800 nits typical and 1,800 nits in high-brightness mode. The body measures 163.2 x 77.5 x 8.8 mm and weighs 202 g, with a glass front, plastic back and plastic frame, and IP65 dust and water resistance. The fingerprint reader sits on the side, and the phone comes in Red, Black and Green.
Performance and Battery
Under the skin sits Android 16 with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 (4 nm), an octa-core chip running four 2.6 GHz Cortex-A78 cores and four 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores, with Mali-G615 MC2 graphics. Memory is 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage, and no card slot is fitted. The 7,000 mAh battery is the headline figure here, but one point needs care: the charging rate is not confirmed, as sources disagree on it, so this page states no watt figure until a firm number is published.
Cameras and Connectivity
On the back sits a dual camera: a 50 MP f/1.8 main sensor with PDAF and an 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide, with LED flash, HDR and panorama, and video at 4K@30fps and 1080p@30/60fps with gyro-EIS. The front camera is a 13 MP f/2.2 unit with HDR and the same 4K and 1080p video options. Elsewhere there are stereo speakers, a 3.5 mm jack, NFC, FM radio with recording and USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG. Network support covers GSM, HSPA, LTE and 5G, including 5G bands 77 and 78, on dual Nano-SIM, but PTA approval has not been confirmed.
Final Verdict: The Battery-First Debut to Watch
The Z-Play covers the bases for a battery-first phone: a bright 120Hz AMOLED display, a large 7,000 mAh battery, full 5G support and 4K video from both cameras. The trade-offs are a plastic build, no card slot and an unconfirmed charging rate. Until a price and PTA status are confirmed, it is a phone to watch rather than buy sight unseen.
